Dr. Elettra Bargellini graduated from the University of Bologna with a Full degree in Law and from King’s College London with an LL.M. in European Law. Between 2019 and 2020, she was part of the Brexit Office at the Italian Embassy in London. In 2022, she was awarded the Irish Research Council Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship. In 2023, she received a Princeton University Visiting Student Research Collaborator award to work with Professor Sophie Meunier. She completed her PhD in European Law at the School of Law and Government at Dublin City University in 2025. She is now a Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute.
Her research interests lie in the areas of EU Law, International Trade Law, EU State Aid Law, and WTO Law.
