The next Jean Monnet Network PROSPER Lecture will take place at Paris-East Créteil University, in Paris on 13 March, focusing on “Human in Control of AI: An EU Law Perspective.”
The lecture will be delivered by Nicola Countouris, Professor of EU Labour Law at University College London.
EU law places strong emphasis on the “human in control / human in command” principle as a core element of its approach to promoting human-centric and trustworthy artificial intelligence while ensuring high levels of protection for users and society. The presentation will critically examine how this principle is operationalised in the employment law context across a range of EU legal instruments.
